Orca

This is a 1/100 scale model of Orca, the fishing boat which appeared in Steven Spielberg's movie Jaws.

Our job was to design most of the equipment and ship's accessories. Client provided us with photographs from the movies and estimated dimensions. After items were replicated in CAD software in a given scale, they were printed via Shapeways, usually in Frosted material in order to get nicely visible fine details.

After printing, models were painted and put on the ship. It's an ongoing and ship gets updated with new items on a constant basis.
